Congratulations to our RMS Employee of the month!
"Mrs. Rentfro is an incredible teacher! She cares deeply about her students and their growth academically and personally. She's fantastic at meeting the needs of all of her students. Her students are blessed to have a teacher that meets them where they are pushes them to achieve more than they can even imagine. She is creative in the classroom and works hard to find ways to incorporate literacy skills in her classroom. She's a team player and RMS is lucky to have her!"

"Randall (Bear) Smith always has a positive attitude with his classmates and works hard in his classes. This week, specifically, he has been so kind to one of our new 6th grade students. He has taken him in as a part of his friend group and helps him find his classes, they hang out together at recess, and they sit together at lunch. I'm really proud of the way he has welcomed one of our new students to RMS!"

The Russellville Police Department selected students with upcoming birthdays and surprised them with special gifts. Today’s celebrations featured Shiloh Jackson and J’Ceon Bowers, joined by Officer Lewis and Sergeant Reeves. Thank you to RPD for helping make our students feel celebrated!

Our students will be attending the annual Band and Choir Christmas Concert tomorrow at the Center for the Arts. We are so excited to hear all of the hard work our performers have put into their music!

Participants MUST REGISTER for the day/time they want to go through the warehouse.
Everyone MUST BRING their kids' IDs on the day if the kids are not with them.
This is a fun annual event where kids and families can shop the RVF4K warehouse to pick their favorite items. We will provide food for the 2 weeks kids are out of school over the holiday break. The RVF4K Pantry Program is CLOSED from December 15-29, so this is the last opportunity for distribution until after Christmas.
Friday - Popcorn and Pizza for after school
Saturday - Photos with Santa
Russellville FUMC is providing hot chocolate for everyone both days!
Unfortunately, Holiday Helper is only in Russellville (until they have another warehouse!), but families from all counties around Russellville are welcome to register.
Please visit their website for more details on registration, volunteer opportunities, and their amazing donors & sponsors who make this event possible!

Great job, brass team!

Here’s how you can pitch in: grab some non-perishable items from your pantry and give them to your Advisory teacher by December 15th. We’ll swing by during Advisory every week to collect everything.
Every can, box, or bag you bring helps someone in need. Let’s work together to meet our goal and show what Gales can do!

Their current plan is to start back up in February, after the annual Chili for Children fundraiser. They’ll be reviewing the schedule over the break and will share updates if anything changes.
They’re also in the process of hiring a program coordinator, which they hope will allow them to open up more spots for students. Thank you for your patience! They know many students have been waiting to hear from them, and they hope to reach out soon. Please reach out to corey@atuwesley.org with any questions.
This is a friendly reminder to please review your student’s Progress Report that was sent home today. If you have any questions or concerns about their grades or assignments, feel free to reach out to their teachers.
Thank you for your support!
Congratulations to the following students for advancing to the Regional Bee:
1st place - Vivaan Kaliraman
2nd place - Sydney Clements
3rd place - Evelyn Johnson
