Did you know that mountain biking is the fastest growing sport in Arkansas? The RMS team competes with over 800 other student/athletes representing 33 teams in Arkansas. We are proud to have support from our school district and volunteers in promoting this life-long activity.

It's pumpkin decoration time at RMS! Show us your talent and imagination!

Mrs. Gallegos challenged her classes to come up with a thoughtful project for the month of October. Her classes decided that they wanted to "Boo" a few classes with treats and kind words.
They surprised Mr. Sinor's and Mr. Forehand's classes with "Boo" baskets, goodies, and notes. The students then came back and wrote about how doing thoughtful acts of kindness made them feel.
Learning is action and at RMS and our team of teachers look for ways of applying academics to real-life applications for a more personalized learning experience.
We care at RMS!

Making Positivity Stick!
Students and teachers were challenged by the leadership team to find and write positive affirmations for each other throughout this week. Sticky notes with positive comments were handed out, stuck on doors, and even stuck on foreheads rewarding and noticing positivity at RMS.
A positive building atmosphere helps facilitate a successful learning environment where everyone is more successful. #RMSCares #ForwardRSD

You win some, you lose some. Mrs. Tripp lost a bet with one of her students. Mrs. Tripp is a Hog fan. I guess you know who lost the bet.

Ms. Riedmueller is taking learning to a whole different level by showing her students what is was like to write in ancient times. Students learned about the ancient form of writing in their 6th grade Ancient History classes. It takes a great team of educators working together to bring history to life at RMS.

Reminder that the Boys and Girls Club of the River Valley will be closed on Friday October 7th.

Making sure you have the right learning environment is critical to student success in the classroom. Ms. Usery uses soft lighting and other technology to create a soft ambience that helps put students in the mood to read and listen. Our teaching team at RMS is committed to providing each student with a rich learning environment.
